Project
Daughter Judy’s patterns are used by a wide range of makers with varying levels of experience, making clarity and accessibility essential. The project focused on refining instructional layouts, visual hierarchy, and illustration systems to reduce friction during use and improve comprehension.
By reviewing and restructuring existing patterns, the work established a more consistent visual language across releases. Design decisions were guided by real-world use, prioritising legibility, repetition, and ease of understanding over stylistic expression.
